Glam's Party (XXO)

I am so surprised as this semi-new Korean girl group Glam!
They have a song called Party (XXO), and the other day I finally got a chance to look up the translations and I was so shocked I couldn't process the info! The song is about the girls singing about falling in love with a girl!


I'll explain the song from my point of view.
When I had heard these first lyrics, "Can I kiss ya baby girl?" I honestly thought nothing of it, I just thought they put that in there to sound cool. But when I read this,
"You know that? Look at your charm, it’s so great
Even if you fall down, beautiful smile
Are you a boy? Girl? I don’t care – passion is the key, a hot heart is your ID." They don't care whether who they fall in love with is a guy or a girl, this is amazing that they sing so openly about this! I honestly have to say Glam did earn my respect on this, because, I'm bi sexual, and it this did make me smile! And people should realize, that it doesn't matter who a person dates, guy or girl - as long as they're happy and should be accepted for who they are as a person! Gay, straight, bi, transgender. No one should be bothered by it! It should be respected on how people are born.
"If you’re alone, come here – put everything in your hot heart
Girl I like ya really really like ya, now just jump up and leave the rest to me." This shows how much the main girl has strong feelings for the other girl, to just trust her and to just have fun with her, and give her feelings a chance is the way I percieve this! There is nothing wrong with men in love with each other or women in love with each other, love is a beautiful, universal thing that most people share in their hearts with one another. It doesn't matter the gender, I know this is cliche, but it's true! Love has no bounds, and gender shouldn't be one of them.

Glam stands for Girls Be Ambitious. Both girls, they both have beating hearts for one another, there's nothing to win in love. Love is an equal partnership. <3 C:

Anyone can fall love each other deeply like Romeo and Juliet had their strong love for each other, and for same-sex relationships, it's no different! They have every right in the world to be happy, and there's nothing wrong with us, and we can fall in love with who we choose. We don't have to live up to anyone's standards on man and woman, we were born this way.

This brings out one subject that is always a serious debate. We are who we are, and we have every right to express our freedom openly. That's what Glam is singing about in this confidence boosting song! Being at each other's throat doesn't solve anything, and being close minded that wonderful people like us exist in this world won't make us disappear.

Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day ✿ Review

Okaaaay. So, this is my first time reviewing any anime. XD So, Anohana. I finished this anime sometime in November of 2012, so it's now 2013, it's been a long while. Well, anyway. This anime, it brought up burried feelings, it was an amazing anime, very simple and well put together, and the plot was fantastic. When I first came across this anime from friends telling me to watch it, I actually got around to it and I was a bit confused as to what happened to Menma, I knew she died, and they did give out small clues in the show, and I percieved it that she drowned. She first comes across her first friend Jintan and explains why she came back, of course I did cry when I heard why, (This anime is a tear-jerker, keeps some tissues close. XD) I thought it was sweet of Jintan to help her so full-heartedly, because when a friend is in trouble, it's only natural for a friend to extend their arm out and assist, even after your friend's death right?

Along with this, there are conflicts between The Super Peace Busters, the little group name that was once the friends Jintan used to be so close to, they all hurt and carry on that guilt from Menma's death, each one is silently dying inside, they have a hard time getting along over this death, because they really loved Menma.

When they agree to come together for Menma, along the way their is conflicts of selfish feelings amongst each other and strong resentment between each other and themselves for what had happened, when Poppo tried to clean his guilt by traveling the world, as for Yukiatsu who had a strong fixation for Menma to where he cross dressed like her. What Yukiatsu did, made me feel so sorry for him that he missed her that much, that he couldn't stop loving her. Anaru jealous of Menma for Jintan always paying attention to her and Tsuruko jealous as well for Yukiatsu giving his attention to Menma, even after her death, still in love with her the ten years that had passed.

In my opinion, out of all of Menma's best friends, Jintan is the one that was most affected and because of her death, had stopped going to school. But, out of all her friends, I think her family has taken it harder for then anyone, especially her mother. Because, when you lose a child, it must be the most heart breaking thing, seeing as how her mother was so distraught over her beautiful daughter's death, to the point where she tended to her alter everyday. Now, I'm not a mother and don't have kids of my own, but I can't even begin to imagine the pain that mother is going through after losing her baby, that cheery smile of that Menma once had, in which she probably misses seeing her pretty face, and of course, she takes out on Jintan and the others, resenting and blaming them what had happened, and in her eyes, seeing them was just an insult to her, beliving they were responsible for her death when it was just an accident, which is natural because any mother would react that way.

As the series goes on, the once reunited Super Peace Busters are trying their hardest to full Menma's wish, and are doing everything in the power on what she'd want done through Jinta talking to her, being the only one who can see her. When her true wish after all, was promising Jinta's mother at her death bed to make Jintan cry.

(Omg I'm close to the end on finishing this. >_< I'm trying not to cry. e.e)
When Menma finally remembers the wish she wanted fullfilled, and Jintan can no longer see her. They both start to panic, because he doesn't want Menma to dissapear yet. And in Menma's struggles she tells them she's playing hide and seek then she leaves them all heart wrenching letters, that personally say sweet things to all her friends.Well in the end, they all said what they had to say to Menma, and she finally passed on happy, of course there was tears involved and many heart-wrenching confessions, but when they all could finally see her, they were happy, and screamed how much they loved her. (Omg nooo, my tears. >_<) The letter she left Jintan really hit me in the heart, that she loved him to where she'd marry him, that's so sweet and she promised her friends they'd play together again when she's reancarnates. The end! >_<
